Atelier Avenda is an art gallery now firmly established in Talmont sur Gironde, one of the 'most beautiful villages in France.' A small bastide promontory in the Charente Maritime, nudging into the Atlantic waters where the Gironde estuary meets the sea, Talmont is well known as a walkers' paradise. In the gallery, known as our eclectic mix of loveliness, you will find Avenda's original art, some prints, sketches and handmade cards, plus some discerning gifts of fine porcelain, Paperblank journals and the famous Talmont Teddies.

Known for its tremendous display of hollyhocks and the medieval church, Talmont also has a small beach-combing beach and a tiny port ... and we are just a few kilometres from the great sandy stretches of Meschers and Royan, so combine a trip to the gallery with a picnic by the sea. Please get in touch if you wish to visit or arrange a rendez-vous out of hours.

On this website you will find current works for sale plus cards printed from original art pieces. If you want the handmade cards you can email or phone. One day when she is rich and famous Avenda will pay someone else to sit collaging for hours, so buy a couple now while they are still the signed real mccoy.
